BC Distributed Learning Program

  • We are unabashedly Christian in our focus, without being denominational. Our goal is to encourage young people to not only learn about God, His creation, and purpose, but to actually use their giftings in practical ways for His glory.
  • Our vision is to develop a short term missions series of courses as a combined academic and hands-on preparation for teens who are zealous to serve our Lord in cross-cultural settings during their high school years. The first steps are already underway with course development, funding, and financial credit incentives available toward short term mission trips.
  • Our fully certified educational program is geared towards your children’s learning abilities and strengths. Every effort is made to individualize their learning experience in order to achieve their greatest potential.
  • We offer a full kindergarten to grade 12 educational program to any BC school age child.
  • Required curriculum costs are paid from the Ministry of Education grant to reasonable limits.
  • Most Anchor students work from home, communicating via computer and telephone.
  • Our exciting apprenticeship, and job shadow program for High School students is fully operational.
  • Selected courses feature regular "classroom" conference calls with the teacher and other DL students.

Anchor Academy offers the following DL program options:

  • DL Standard (DLS)
This fully-prepared curriculum uses materials from Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) and other publishers.
  • DL Individualized (DLI)
This program will appeal to those home schooling families who appreciate the freedom of choosing their own curriculum.
  • CHe-S Online (CHeS)
    Computer-based lessons in Grades 4-12.
