Anchor Academy is in its 25th year and has grown from 11 students in 1996 to almost 900 in 2009. If you are interested in home schooling we can help you with virtually any curriculum or style or learning. Many of our programs are funded by the British Columbia Ministry of Education Distributed Learning Program and will be no cost to you. You can choose to be supervised and guided by one of our Christian teachers or be independent. We also offer contests that reward the student with short term mission credit towards travel costs and for scripture memorization and other contests.
Each morning the office staff meets for praise and prayer. Once a week all of our teachers pray together. Prayer is an integral part of Anchor Academy.
Short Term Missions play an important role in Anchor Academy, and we try to do two trips a year.
