Salmon Arm, BC -- Tracy also teaches from K-9
After graduating from Trinity Western University and University of British Columbia , I gained experience teaching in the classroom as well as working individually with parents and students. I love missions, sports, and enjoying God’s creation with my family. I look forward to helping students succeed as they pursue a Christ-centred education.

White Rock, BC
I live in White Rock, BC, Canada's "banana belt." Christine and I have been married for 46 years and we praise the Lord for two beautiful daughters, two wonderful sons-in-law and two exceptional grandchildren. As I began high school I realized that the story of origins being taught did not line up with scripture. With my faith firmly placed in the Lord Jesus Christ I knew the Bible was true so science must be wrong on origins, but I could not defend my position with science. Ten years after I started teaching I discovered the information I needed through the Bible Science Association (now Creation Science Association of BC). I have been actively engaged in teaching the scientific evidence for creation to all ages for over 35 years. In addition I taught Physics, General Science and Mathematics at Semiahmoo Secondary in White Rock/ Surrey for 33 years. I am excited to be joining the Anchor Academy team.

Gibsons, BC
I am a dad of 8 children, and I live in Gibsons, B.C. When I have money, I enjoy building computers, listening to music and doing a lot of digitizing—audio and video. I like to talk to the Lord for at least a ½ hour every day. He’s a good listener. I firmly believe that my being a teacher and joining the staff of Anchor Academy was entirely God’s will. After seven years with our school, I can honestly say that no other job would please me. All of the students, parents, colleagues, and staff have been a wonderful blessing to me, and I am fully devoted to serving them/with them till the end of my working days.

Vancouver, BC
I have been with Anchor Academy for over 5 years teaching the high school math, science and an assortment of other courses. I enjoy teaching these courses and I enjoy learning to use the resources available to us on the internet like the white board as a teaching tool. I have a range of experience having taught in the past in Kenya, in Christian schools and public school. I also enjoy many activities outside; one that takes up much of my time is dragon boating.

Cranbrook, BC
Greetings! My name is Heidi Christison. Who am I?... I am a mother of four children, ranging in age from 9 years to 7 months. I love my children deeply, yes I would die for any one of them. But I am not a perfect mother. I am a wife. I am the only wife of one loving husband, whom I love very much. We work together well, as we try to make our home run smoothly. But I am not a perfect wife. I am a teacher. I am a teacher for my children at home. I am a teacher for other people’s children from my home. I am a substitute teacher sometimes, away from my home. From my experiences with teaching, I have seen that how we choose to educate our children has a tremendous influence on their futures, both academically and spiritually. I have come to believe that, to educate at home, is a better option. But, I am not a perfect teacher. So who am I? I am all these things, and more, all the time. I am the busiest I have ever been in all my life. I see how short I fall from the ideal in all these roles. But, I am also the happiest, the most fulfilled and content that I have ever been in my life. Why? Because even though I am not perfect, I have more fully come to realize who I really am. I am a child of God. Because of that, I can have peace and joy. I can rest in His love, and trust that His perfection will make up for where I lack — in every role that I fill. He is my strength and my song.
