STANDARD HOME LEARNING PROGRAM

Anchor’s DL (Distributed Learning) Standard Program places the student under the direction of a certified teacher who has prepared everything needed for the student’s school year: the courses, the curriculum, the plan for implementation, and the plan for assessment. The student belongs to a scattered "class" of other students in the same grade and they all do the same thing. The school year is divided into quarters.

1. Required curriculum costs are paid from the Ministry of Education grant to reasonable limits.

2. Most Anchor students work from home, communicating via computer and telephone.

3. Our exciting apprenticeship, and job shadow program for High School students is fully operational.

4. Selected courses feature regular "classroom" conference calls with the teacher and other DL
students.
